April 27 - WEIBUILD's intelligent spray painting robot has triumphed in securing the bid for Singapore's Housing & Development Board's (HDB) inaugural centralized procurement project for construction robots. WEIBUILD’s cutting-edge technology and comprehensive service system have enabled it to stand out among fierce competition, winning the "latex paint robot" project initiated by HDB. This initiative is a cornerstone of Singapore’s ambitious "Construction Robotics Strategy," spearheaded by the government to revolutionize the construction industry.

The HDB has been accelerating its shift towards construction industrialization and intelligent transformation. From 2025 onwards, approximately 50% of projects will progressively adopt robotic solutions for painting and plastering to enhance efficiency. The bidding process attracted participation from companies around the globe, with stringent evaluation criteria covering technical compatibility, localization capabilities, cost-effectiveness, and long-term operational stability.

WEIBUILD's spray painting robot not only met the rigorous demands for intelligent construction but also garnered high praise from the evaluation committee for its stable quality and efficient service. Collaborating with local partner Linkwise, WEIBUILD will provide large-scale deployment of its spray painting robots and related services over a three-year period, covering the majority of new public housing developments.
